Mr. Abu Hena Mohammad Mustafa Kamal, FCA (EX- Partner)
Mr. Abu Hena Mohammad Mustafa Kamal, FCA (ex- partner) was the founder partner of the firm who is the current Hon’able Finance Minister in Bangladesh.
Mr. Kamal graduated with Honors in Financial Management in 1967 from the University of Dhaka, Post graduation in Financial Management in 1968 from the same University. He is also a law graduate. Mr. Kamal became a Chartered Accountant in the year 1970 and secured first position in the Chartered Accountancy examination in the then Pakistan (East and West Pakistan combined together).
Mr. Kamal was elected as a Member of Parliament in 1996 from Comilla-9 constituency on Awami League nomination. During this period he was the Member of the Public Accounts Committee in the Parliament, Board of Investment, Privatization Commission, BARD, Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Finance and Chittagong University Senate.
Late Badrul Ahsan, FCA (EX- Partner)
Late Badrul Ahsan FCA (Enrolment No. 59) a Partner of Nurul Faruk Hasan & Co, Chartered Accountants (A Correspondent Firm of RSM International) was President of the Institute for 1995. Having passed the LLB final examination from Dhaka University with first-class first, Badrul Ahsan was qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1969 from the erstwhile CA Institute in Pakistan. He was the Controller of Accounts of Janata Bank during 1972-73. He received the prestigious “Sonali Bank Medal” and “American express Inc Award” from the Institute of Bankers Diploma.
Another founder partner of Ahsan Kamal Sadeq & Co. was Late Badrul Ahsan, FCA.
Mr. Md. Sadequr Rahman, FCA (EX- Partner)
Mr. Md. Sadequr Rahman has more than 45 years of experience in the field of accounting, auditing, compliance, taxation, RJSC assignments, financial management policy etc.
Mr. Md Shawkat Ali Miah FCA
Mr. Md Shawkat Ali Miah FCA is one of the experienced Chartered Accountants in Bangladesh. He has wide experience of working in different listed/Non listed companies and NGOs in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and others. Such as National Polymer Group, A.K.Khan Telecom Ltd., Provita Group, TIB, BRAC etc. Mr. Shawkat completed his Master in Commerce in Accounting and Management. Beside that he took various training on Credit Management System, Automation system, IFRS/BFRS, English efficiency, Income Tax, VAT, Art of Leadership etc which was organized by Ernst Young, Artisan
& Hoque, BRAC University, ICMAB and ICAB. He became Associate Member in 2014 and Fellow Member in 2019 of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He is also an Income Tax and VAT consultant certified by National Board of Revenue (NBR) Bangladesh.
During the service he built his skills and abilities to manage foreign and local fund, Upass, Refinance, OBU fund, BOI approval, Company formation, Project Profile preparation, banking activities etc. He also
supervised the department of Finance and Accounts, Costing, Tax & VAT, Internal Audit, Supply Chain Management etc. He joined in Ahsan Kamal Sadeq & Co. a reputed Chartered Accountants Firm in 2022
as a Partner.
Mr. Md. Fokrul Islam, FCA, LLB
Mr. Md. Fokrul Islam is one of the experienced Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh having 30 years experience in the field of accounting, auditing and compliance. He has wide experience in audit work of banks, NGOs, private and public listed companies, universities and work on Corporate Government compliances
During the service he built his skills and abilities to manage foreign and local fund, Upass, Refinance, OBU fund, BOI approval, Company formation, Project Profile preparation, banking activities etc. He also

Shafaz Fatema, ACA
Shafaz Fatema is one of the bright young Chartered Accountant in Bangladesh. She has vast experience in auditing, accounting service, liaison office setup, HR service etc. in Bangladesh for more than 10 years. Previously she was working with Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co. in the capacity of manager.
